Standing Stone Coffee Company began as a Café and Roastery in 2008, roasting coffee to meet the needs of our own espresso bar and café. As a result, we’ve come to understand the ins and outs of a coffee and food business. As members of the Specialty Coffee Association (SCA), it is our priority to bring you only the best. Each coffee is small-batch craft roasted to bring out each of our coffee’s unique flavor profiles. Small-batch roasting ensures freshness, roasting only what is needed each week for our guests and clients. We offer guidance and training on handling and preparation, based on your needs, to ensure your coffee experience is the best it can be.
As a business, you work hard to create a quality experience and lasting impression for your guests. We offer a variety of services to help your business stand out from the rest. Where does our coffee come from?
We have three direct-trade relationship farms as well as one indirect partnership, which provides traceability and the ability to ensure that each of our coffees are grown sustainably and in alignment with our ethical and environmental standards.
Where can you buy Standing Stone coffee?
In addition to visiting our 1229 Mifflin Street Café or ordering our coffee online, you can find our coffee at several other locations in Huntingdon and surrounding counties.
What kind of training do we offer?
Our wholesale clients will also have access to training for their entire staff free of extra charge. The general public is also invited to join us at our Coffee University series in the shop for $5 per class to learn more about the world of coffee and brewing and cupping techniques.
What brewing equipment should you use?
As a small retailer/roaster we have found that it doesn't really benefit our clients to buy equipment through us, because they can get it cheaper through some larger, typically online retailers. That being said, we can definitely consult with you on your equipment needs, and can make recommendations on what would be the best fit, especially because we're not tied to sell a certain brand name. We can also teach you basic equipment maintenance, and can help troubleshoot your equipment problems as they arise, before you need to call in a service tech.
