Hello, I’m Eddie! Also responds to: Breadie, Breadward, Bread… you get the picture.
I’ve lived in Huntingdon for about ten years and am currently a Chemistry student at Juniata College, where I’ll graduate in 2021. When I’m not in class (and probably should be studying), you’ll usually find me outside with a frisbee in hand. I play for Juniata’s Ultimate team with some of my best friends on and off campus.
I love working for SSCC both in the shop and out, as you’ll often find me serving our coffee at other sites, like festivals and Farmers Markets. I’m also in the process of training to roast coffee for the shop! In 2020, I had the amazing opportunity to travel to Selva Negra, our partner coffee farm in Nicaragua, with some of the SSCC staff. I love the many great friends that I’ve met and experiences that I’ve had through this job, from coworkers to our beloved regulars, but one of my favorite things about work is getting to experiment with original food and drink recipes. Next time you stop in, ask me for a “surprise drink”, and don’t be surprised if you end up with a bacon milkshake!
